About Miriam Hamisa
raised in a mixed Jewish tradition rich with song, i learned early on that music is more than melody—it is a vessel for memory, connection, and reverence. that foundation, combined with my studies in neuropsychology, trauma, and conflict, led me to explore how sound interacts with the nervous system, shaping our capacity for healing and transformation.
through the lenses of the Integrative Theory of Peace and Parts Work, i’ve come to understand that the integration we long to see in the world begins with integration inside the self. when we attune to the dissonance within—our inner conflicts, unprocessed emotions, and fragmented parts—we create the conditions for greater coherence, both internally and in the spaces we move through.
my work now is an invitation into that process. whether through immersive sound journeys, community song, or 1:1 integration sessions, i use the resonance of voice, vibration and community to help others find steadiness, clarity, and belonging in their own bodies. sound is a bridge—a way back to wholeness, one note at a time.
